Transantiago, before and after

Hello, I'm going to talk about Transantiago, a public transport system that changed the old system (yellow buses) into a new system, neater and faster. Transantiago started about 2 years ago, but till now it continues having problems. There are a lot of uncoordinated topics to correct. For example you have to wait a long time for a bus, or sometimes you don't have to wait nothing. That is a problem becouse there aren't a time constant for the service.

When transantiago started there were more problems than today, at least some of them has been corrected. At first, anyone had the "Bip! card" that is the way for pay at buses and metro for example. Metro is the subway here en Santiago, it is included in the urban transport system and it's the fastest way to move from one end of the city to another end.

I think in general Transantiago is a good system, but there were logistics problem when it started, for example the amount of buses. There were like the 40% less of buses than the old system when Transantiago started and that was not enough to transport the number of passengers in Santiago. Also, Transantiago has less "long rides " than the old system, so the people prefer to use the metro for long distances and now the metro is a real chaos.

In my personal opinion, I regret the current service of metro. Before Transatiago was a great experience to travel by metro, but now it is a disgust.
